Nosey people who always have an opinion of your parenting?

operasnob asked:

My latest example: I was at the grocery store the other day & some woman approached me saying my daughter looks cold & I should dress her better. She was in fleece pants, sweater, socks, boots & a winter coat- I took off the hat & gloves because we were indoors, yet she still felt the need to intervene.

Do you ever find people, even strangers, feel the need to tell you what you’re doing wrong/what they think is best for your child? How do you respond?
