to be honest, pregnancy itself is no different if you’re 16, 26, 36, etc. the only difference is the outside factors.
i’m 19, pregnant, and loving it. no, it’s not what i would have wanted for myself, but i am SO SICK of people dissing teen moms. my life is not ruined by having a baby at a young age…it is enhanced. i may not be able to go out all the time, but it’s not like suddenly my life is over and i can never have fun again. i have no intention of handing my daughter off to my parents whenever i want to go out — i know that she is MY responsibility.
i guess you guys just need to think more when you diss young moms. just because we haven’t finished school yet does not mean that we are some awful, attention-seeking, immature girls. i know that some moms are like this, but a majority of us have jobs and go to school full time and tend to do the same when our babies come.
